Sequel to the classic Shadowgate game
Beyond Shadowgate is a premium adventure title for PC developed by Zojoi LLC. It is the highly-anticipated sequel to the original Shadowgate point-and-click game based on the NES version that was released back in 1987. It is set 35 years after the events of its predecessor and centers around a new protagonist.
Compared to the original Shadowgate game, Beyond Shadowgate boasts an experience five times larger than that of its predecessor in scale and complexity. It also features updated graphics and animations that are more in line with modern standards while still staying true to its 8-bit roots.

Beyond Shadowgate takes place 35 years after the events of the original and centers around a new protagonist named Del Thornburrow as he escapes his jail cell deep within the dungeons of Gwynenthell. Thus, begins a quest for redemption as he faces all kinds of obstacles and challenges across various locations. Use your wits and powers of observation to tackle each puzzle and problem.
As you try to escape and survive your whole ordeal, you will come to know of a dark plot that threatens to topple multiple kingdoms and throw the entire land into chaos. Other notable things include day/night cycles, 40 achievements to work towards, and many other additions and improvements. One thing that can be added in the future would be an autosave feature.
